Guitarist Freddy Clarke was born in Fresno, California. When he was 8, he began to take piano lessons, and then saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. That was IT for him, he was determined to be a professional musician. His mother was supportive of his dream and bought him a St. George hollow-body electric guitar in a pawn shop for $50. She even took him and his friends to concerts at the Fillmore and Winterland where he got to see stars like Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page. Wow!
